It is still too early to predict whether Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will play in the Vijay Hazare Trophy , scheduled between December 24 and January 8.
As per a PTI report, both Rohit and Kohli , who have retired from Test and T20I cricket, are expected to play a few rounds of the Vijay Hazare Trophy.

"Rohit and Virat are expected to play three games in the tournament," the report said.
Virat Kohli's Delhi team will be stationed in Bengaluru, where they will play seven matches, two of which will be held at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, while the rest will be played at Alur.
Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai will play all their matches in Jaipur.
Rohit Sharma last featured in the Vijay Hazare Trophy during the 2018/19 season’s semi-final. That season marked his second appearance in the tournament, having previously played two matches in 2017 and one in 2013. Rohit had made his Vijay Hazare Trophy debut in 2007, just four months before representing India for the first time.
Virat Kohli, on the other hand, hasn’t played in the tournament for much longer. His most recent Vijay Hazare Trophy outing was in 2010 against Services. Coincidentally, Kohli’s own VHT debut also came four months before his international debut in 2008.
In 13 innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, Virat Kohli has racked up 819 runs at a stellar average of 68.25, registering four centuries and three fifties. Rohit Sharma, meanwhile, in his 24 innings in the Vijay Hazare Trophy, has scored 823 runs at an average of 37.40, with one century and five fifties.
