Manchester police incident LIVE: Armed cops and ambulances swarm Cheetham

Armed police and ambulances have raced to a street in Manchester following an incident on Tuesday.

It is not clear what the nature of the incident is, but a number of ambulances and police vehicles are at the scene.

An alleyway beside the Abraham Moss Metrolink stop is cordoned off, as is Woodlands Road.

Greater Manchester Police have been approached for comment.
